I recently discovered google video... most of the stuff that is easy to access is not that interesting, but there are some good things there, do a search for "la linea" a great italian cartoon from the 70s, or for "public domain" to see old movies, there are some good documentaries apparently... let me know if you find something good, it has potential, but requires a bit of digging.
